The AbenaOye Foundation was born from the legacy of two remarkable women: Elizabeth, the grandmother of our founder, and Diana, her mother. Both embodied resilience, compassion, and an unshakable belief in the power of education and opportunity.
Inspired by their example, the foundation was created to bridge the gender gap in technology and agriculture by equipping girls and women in Ghana with the skills, mentorship, and resources they need to thrive. What began as a vision rooted in personal history has grown into a movement dedicated to transforming lives.
Through programs like The Kwadie Club, rural tech education initiatives, and agri-tech empowerment for women farmers, the AbenaOye Foundation is carrying forward a legacy of hope, leadership, and empowerment; one girl, one woman, and one community at a time.
